PERMANENT MAKEUP – BOOKING POLICY & CLIENT RULES

To ensure the best quality of service, safety, and comfort for both clients and the artist, the following rules apply to all Permanent Makeup (PMU) treatments. By booking an appointment, you agree to these terms and conditions.

📸 PRE-BOOKING PHOTO IS REQUIRED

Before your appointment can be confirmed, you must send a clear, makeup-free photo of the area to be treated (brows, lips). This allows for a proper pre-assessment to:

  • Check your eligibility for PMU

  • Review any previous permanent makeup or skin conditions

  • Choose the best technique and pigment for your skin tone

Without an approved photo, your appointment cannot be scheduled.

💳 BOOKING & DEPOSIT POLICY

  • All appointments require a non-refundable deposit to be confirmed.

  • The deposit amount is deducted from the total cost of the treatment.

  • Your booking is not secured until the deposit is received.

  • Deposits are non-transferable and non-refundable, except under specific cancellation/rescheduling terms outlined below.

⏳ LATENESS POLICY

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late, the session may be cancelled and your deposit forfeited, as it affects the schedule for other clients and the time required for your treatment.

🔄 CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING

  • You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without losing your deposit if you notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled time.

  • Cancellations or changes made less than 48 hours in advance will result in a loss of deposit.

  • A new deposit will be required to rebook.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 NO GUESTS, CHILDREN OR PETS

For safety, hygiene, and concentration reasons:

  • No children, pets, or additional guests are allowed in the treatment room during your appointment.

  • We kindly ask that you attend alone to ensure the highest quality of service and avoid distractions.

📋 BEFORE YOUR TREATMENT (PRE-CARE)

Preparing properly helps achieve the best healed results. A full pre-care guide will be sent after booking, but general rules include:

  • No alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, or blood thinners 24 hours prior

  • No sunbathing, tanning beds, or chemical peels 7 days prior

  • No Botox/fillers in the area at least 2–3 weeks before

  • Skin must be healthy – no cold sores, active acne, eczema, or irritation

If you show up with contraindications that make it unsafe to proceed, the appointment will be cancelled and your deposit will be lost.

🩹 AFTERCARE IS MANDATORY

Proper aftercare is critical to your healing and final results. You will receive a detailed aftercare plan, but key instructions include:

  • No water, makeup, skincare, or touching the treated area for the first few days

  • Avoid sun, sauna, steam, swimming, sweating, or heavy workouts for 7–10 days

  • Follow the healing schedule and product instructions carefully

  • Expect some peeling, scabbing, or color fading during healing – this is normal

💡 IMPORTANT INFO TO KNOW

  • Top-up (perfecting session) is included and must be booked within 8 weeks of the initial treatment. After this period, it will be charged as a separate session.

  • PMU is not suitable for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, undergoing chemotherapy, have uncontrolled diabetes, or certain skin/immune conditions.

  • All skin heals differently. Some clients may require additional sessions to achieve the desired colour or shape.

  • Permanent makeup is a two-step process – do not judge results until full healing (5-8 weeks post-treatment).
